Must say I do like the A pillar pods. Very nice.
I was just going to use my cheap pod till I found a nicer way of mounting it but you know how things go.. It's in a great position for seeing while you're driving.

Leigh, If you look out of the screen, the car is heading for a wall at 0MPH. That's why the mpg shows 32MPG.

Newsh shows 20MPG at 90MPH which is about right.

I think I had just driven back fromn the billing meet and took the pic - so I was driving sensibly - I could get 430miles out of a tank if I drove like an avant driver

Or maybe that is the "gpm" reading

I have seen an average of about 9 mpg, good hard caning. It loves it.

Oh yeah, back to topic, that Racetech gauge looks the best for me, as soon as the engine work is done, I will be going beyond the 2 bar point!!

I'm yet to get above 20mpg. Usually hovering around 16.5mpg. I am sure it is over pessimistic though, as I usually above 250 miles before the low fuel warning comes on.
Maybe it is the lead weight in my right shoe

My economy has improved since I cleaned the MAF.
I now get 22.8 on average according to the computer, although that plummets if I do more town driving, and goes up if I do more motorway driving...

Mine plummets to late teens if i dont go on a motorway regularly,think its at 20.9 at the mo heading for 17 :mad: I have a few cans of isopropyl,i liberated from work for a MAF clean.

MAF cleaning - use Isopropyl Alcohol. You can get it from any decent chemist, a couple of quid for a litre or so.

take the MAF off and leave it to soak in the IPA over night. Your car will thank you for it!
