As I said before, the Polo front suspension is a rubbish design really and FWIR the front legs struggle wit tuned G40 engines when racing. If you space frame the car, fit the quattro drivetrain and a VR then you'd have a unique car. Problem is that (me included) most people prefer to look at a mk.2 Golf than a mk.3 Polo or Golf.
Do a 1.6 AEE conversion on the Polo with a small turbo running 0.5bar (thus no intercooler required) and with either a subframe or a spaceframed front. That would be as powerful as the VR, light and unique, I've not heard of a turbo AEE yet. Skim the pistons to drop compression, fit a G40 management and you'll be away!

and basicly it would just be a polo shell sat on a space frame. like i said lots of work and as for u would rather see a mk2 vr i understand where ya coming from and alot of people that would agree with ya but just fancy somthing thats abit different.

Other priorities at the mo tho.
