I'f I cant get one I'll just put it in the vent, which may look better anyway?

I'd rather the above was centred without the rings!

I got one from an old GB here but it does not fit well. I am thinking about drilling out the vent.

I know it may sound like a stupid question but do you lads have your ABS override switch in a different place to us lesser brethren ?
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

I assume you never has those fans running as the carbon effect would get hot, Ive used the same stuff in the past so know its good but goes soft when hot.

Think this looks really good so if there is a solution I may do it myself. Did you make up your own plate to wrap?

@gripper - there is no ABS override on the ABY machines - strange but true

No abs cancel on ABY S2, there was on my 90Q and my old mans 2.8 v6 80.

Never use that vent, can't even imagine who actually uses it as I cant stand direct heat blowing in my face. As long as the window is clear and I have warm feet im good. so answer is its not in use!

As for the construction its 2mm aluminium plate with a 1.6mm thick 'L' bracket secured to the under side of the dash. the bottom is held in place via good old friction!
