    Cool... I have done a similar thing with the gauges in my golf...

    I don't think the bracket I got with my gauge would allow for me to do it that way but as you say good advice for peeps who have yet to fit theirs...

                    Fitted my gauge into a normal vent yesterday, looks more factory really but was a fiddle!
