It's too short, so it's collecting dust.

Too short for what? Gives 1.7 Bar on a stock ABY cap.

I'll have it back if you're not using it.

That's not all there is to it.
Yes, it gives 0.7 bar, except it cracks way too early.

Springs are not linear from what I understand and this one seems to open a little bit very easily. I am guessing because it is so short. 1.5x shorter than stock spring.

Crack is a direct function of pre load; if you increase pre load then you increase WG crack pressure - I've done some testing to verify my mathematical model. It's shorter because spring rate is much higher than stock. Stock spring compression is ~46mm on an ~80mm spring, giving a compressed length of 34mm or so. F=k.x applies and thus a 29.5mm compression (2.5" free length) of a spring with over twice the spring rate is higher than the stock, hence higher crack pressure. If you mean that 1.7 Bar is too early then that's a different matter As above, I'll have it back if you're not going to use it.

Edit - this is the spring you have:

This spring is the one I referred to that can be adjusted between 1.8 and 2.1 Bar on a stock WG cap. To get 1.9 Bar you will need to back off the adjusting screw around 4 turns. On a bone stock cap, you'll get just over 2 Bar - you're looking for a load of around 230N at a length of 34mm.

2.2 is a bit much. my engine peaks at ~2.15bar and holds ~1.85bar to red line

Its about time I unveiled my car fully i think...

2.2 is 1.2 bar in boost terms maybe too much maybe not had no experience of them

Never thought about that. 2.2 bar could be absolute pressure in which case 1.2 bar gauge pressure..

It is absolute, all the springs are rated this way
