Springs are not linear from what I understand and this one seems to open a little bit very easily. I am guessing because it is so short. 1.5x shorter than stock spring.Comment

Crack is a direct function of pre load; if you increase pre load then you increase WG crack pressure - I've done some testing to verify my mathematical model. It's shorter because spring rate is much higher than stock. Stock spring compression is ~46mm on an ~80mm spring, giving a compressed length of 34mm or so. F=k.x applies and thus a 29.5mm compression (2.5" free length) of a spring with over twice the spring rate is higher than the stock, hence higher crack pressure. If you mean that 1.7 Bar is too early then that's a different matter
As above, I'll have it back if you're not going to use it.
Edit - this is the spring you have:

yeah I kicked myself when I missed yours

2.2 is a bit much. my engine peaks at ~2.15bar and holds ~1.85bar to red line
Its about time I unveiled my car fully i think...Comment

Never thought about that. 2.2 bar could be absolute pressure in which case 1.2 bar gauge pressure..Comment

I have a 1.9 bar spring if you still need one?Comment
Just remembered that I have one that will run 1.8 to 2.1 Bar. I'd need to check what it will run on a stock spring cap. Dimitri had a 1.7 Bar spring off me a while back but not sure if he used it or not.
is too much for stock k24 turbo.
