0.86 Turbine housing : 571hp with 1.06 housing

OK that's starting to make a bit more sense now as was thinking of going to a gt35 myself but already have that sort of power at 1.7bar on a gt30hybrid coming on full chat at 4k till 8k and was starting to think not worth it to go bigger if it came in that late with no more power. But yes if the cams are not dialled in and the head not necessarily suited to match the profile and not enough fuel that would explain a lot. Put the smaller hotside on dial the cams in and go from there

The setup is fine atm...no need to change cams and starting to experiment. Only thing is the turbine housing.

hmmm....the numbers for the s4 are:
Measured at the wheels: 515 hp @ 6942rpm which relates to 571 Hp engine.
Low losses i guess....

Yup, 9% drivetrain loss at such high rpm is pretty good for quattro.

Dyno plots

Last year 2.2 with stock valve size head running 31/32psi on GT30R K26 0.63 hotside

and currently with 2.5 stroker oversized valves and 1.7bar on gt3079 hybrid with k26 0.82 hotside

Yes, the smaller housing provides more power at lower revs...
Was this also with a single fuel pump ?

Since this is an S4 with different ignition setup then an (R)S2, the tune was pretty straight forward: no ignition problems with the stock ignition or intake limitations from the stock manifold...only limit was the 044 Bosch pump...with more fuel 600+ would have been possible....
The smaller housing should basically be plug&play
