I have 2 vems ecus one on my urs4 and the other for my urq. I bought the urq ecu second hand and it has gave problems. But now vems have actually replaced the entire ecu with a brand new one for less than 200 euro. Sure it took some time and messing around but that's how things go. I would have no reservations buying another vems ecu. I find it quite easy to map to be honest and I'm no expert.

I have also had a moronic ecu fail on me too so everything can and will brake.

I am not being defensive. I fail to see the logic behind your 'conserns' and hence I see that you will face the same hurdles with maxxecu as you would have with vems.

I'm a bit out of sync with spiritual and religious matters so when it comes to scientology I fail to see the joke [emoji12] [emoji12]

To sum I think this forum has now about 10 threads going back and forth for aftermarket ecu and people have enough information to decide or get in touch. It's starting to get as boring as the infamous 'discussions' with Dmitri and motronic tuning [emoji23] [emoji23] . So it's for these reasons that I'm uut

This is simply not true. fought major issues in 2015 ending in new firmware development by VEMS. And was not able to map and run the car with those glitches. Maybe you are still using 1.1.96

But you dont need glitches that crack your engine to be pissed after a while

You are funny... how many ecus did you map in the past??

Nobody. Found some bugs in LINK after 3 days of usage - ending in new firmware by LINK. LINK developer support was brilliant.

But again, dont missunderstand my posts. Im not promoting or advising against something. I'm just telling my experience and my decision.

Maybe it's because the ecu is in effect the cars brain, so opining that it is glitchy is like calling someone's car stupid.
