      Is there anything special about these shims?
      Are they magnetic? Made from anything special?

      From what i can see, it looks like a peice of plate with two bosses on it that insert into the caliper pistons.
      If it is this simple then I might be able to get a replacement designed up and made (as long as it is nothing special). Can't see it being expensive.

          Ok then,

          BigLeeM, do you think you could get me some accurate dimensions from those shims you just bought?
          I'll have a chat to a friend of mine who should be able to knock a few up.

          I'll check with him first though.

              sounds promising Dan, I'll keep a look-out for progress. I might be right in saying that the plate has an adhesive backing so that the pads stick to the plates. At least mine have the remains of a sticky back on them

                      Just noticed that I forgot to put the dia's of the lugs that fit inside the pistons
                      I'll do that tonight when I get in.

                        Right the dia's;
                        The large one is 23.5mm
                        The smaller one is 21mm
                        Right i think that is everything if not give me a shout if you need anything else.
