After that it happens no more.Coming home from work tonight tho, start the car up, drive off and nothing happens......BTW my drive is on a slope, the road i parked is not.Is it ******ed?

Have you tried the bomb test to see how many pumps your brake pedal takes to go hard after the engine has been switched off? How many pumps did it take?
Check the fluid level in your reservoir. If it's Ok try a flush of the system. This will usually revive the bomb for a while if it's still serviceable. If you try this and it's still beeping away you may be looking at a replacement bomb. Unfortunately, they're not the cheapest component to replace

Just checked it; reservoir is OK, 63 pushes on the pedal before it goes solid...

mine also beeps 3 times from cold sometimes.
also takes ~54 pumps to empty

& mine is guaranteed to give the beep when left parked on a slope......odd isn't it?

Looks like your bomb is Ok if it takes that number of pumps to make it go firm. What about your brake fluid resevoir level, is that OK too?

Dean, mines the same. If I don't drive for for a week, then as soon as the engine is running red light and the bleeps. Drive off and it never comes on again. Drive her every day, no red light. Pedal pumps for some time before it runs out.

Same here. When cold and parked on incline, when left for a while and when driving over a sharp bump like a pothole when the engine is very cold. Haven't done the pedal test but since it only happens at these specific times I am not overly concerned. It happens once every few weeks. I will get around to doing the pedal pump test sometime. Never remember when I am in the car..allways reminded when reading the forums...you can guess how much this 'fault' is bugging me: not at all!:eek2:

only remember when on here I have this feeling of deja vu every day on here!!

General feelings Dean are if it passes the pedal pump test, its ok for a little while longer. I'm with Lee's thinking on this one, I'm not concerned right now.

4-legged turbo charged horsepower lives up a rutted track. When I first had car, I'd regularly get the ! and the 3 beeps going up the track, but not necessarily every day. Had it serviced just after I bought the car and as they didn't flag any problems, didn't think anymore about it as there were no obvious leaks and everything seemed to be working OK. CV boot on offside then split and leaked - had that sorted + new brake pads + brake fluid change. Problem hasn't reoccurred. Very curious and perhaps pure coincidence as garage didn't seem to think there was a link!

                        yes very odd....
I get these beeps and signal every time I start the car ever since I owned it (now 9 months), pump test ok and fluid level ok so I don't think much of it now..... could it be a faulty sensor?

I used to get this at startup or just after pulling away in the morning, then it stopped about 6 months ago and hasn't come back

Try unpluging the electrical connector to your hydraulic fluid reservoir and see if that stops this beeping you guys get.

Maybe bleeding the clutch would help? I'm only guessing.
