    Just one more question.

How much distance are there between the inside of the caliper and the pad, when the pistons is pushed as far in as possible?

    Thanks

im sure the piston faces should be flush with the caliper face i did this conversion and used backing plates and had no rubbing issues

I think what he means it that the pistons should go back far enough so they sit flush with the body of the caliper i.e they do not stick out
