@horvathg - Yeah I have had these on the rear of my coupe for the last i think 3 years and they are ok with the pagid fast road pads. I think they do not stock them in the uk anymore now though which is a shame cos even if they are stock size, they actually look reasonable with the cross drills
Cheers,
David
P.S. does anyone know the distance between the mounting holes on the rear calipers
If you guys didn't mind not having hydraulic brakes you could use front calipers with a proportioning vavle and when in park step down on the brake and close the proportioning vavle.
It's been done and it works.

I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

Hi Josh, I think you meant not having mechanicaly actuated brakes. By law Cars in the UK must have a mechanicla fail safe system to stop and hold the vehicle. It won't pass an MOT otherwise ( or shouldn't). It's a good tip though.

could we find any mercedes rotors that are vented and have a similar offset to our rear rotors??
I don't think rotor selection is the problem i think it's finding the right caliper to work with a larger rotor width of either 20mm, 22mm, or 25mm that is the issuse.
So a good starting point in my mind was to remember that the s2 uses the same rear rotor selection as some 1.8t. This being the case maybe this will work:
AudiWorld was created to maintain the most comprehensive collection of Audi information anywhere in the world. Site includes Forum, Tech, Polls, Gallery, and more!
269 is not the biggest rear rotor size people have put in the back but it sounds like a good possibility. If I didn't just buy new rear calipers, rotors and pad I would of tried this out or something like this setup.
