Had the calipers mounted using ferodo pads and Audi std dampening pads with two "stumps"--> squeeking noice
Had brakepads swapped for audi original (Textar) --> squeeking noice
Applied plastilube to dampeningpads --> squeeking noice after 600km
Applied Silkolene RG2 grease --> squeeking noice after 4000km
Now swapped Audi dampeningpads for Porsche original "single" dampeningpads --> squeecking noice. Here is no place to apply grease to the dampening pads.

Squeeking noice is while normal driving, not when braking when braking the noice is gone.

After applying the silkolene grease to the std dampeningpads (both sides) 6000km ago the noice only comes from the left side so there must be a difference in hardware or mounting between left & right. Therefore I experimented with the left side only.
    Currently
    - Right is: textar brakepads, audi dampening pad and silkolene grease; --> still silent
    - left is: textar brakepads, porsche dampening pad and silkolene grease; --> noice after 150km

    Could try:
    - grease on edges of brakepads if so what grease (copper, silkolen or platilube)??
    - go back to std dampeningpads on left side aswel and grease it with coppergrease.

    Any other suggestions / advices / do's & don'ts??

    Thanks

After applying the silkolene grease to the std dampeningpads(both sides)
This may be the issue, was with mine. New audi double backplates with adhesive to brake pad dry (no grease) with grease only between backplate and caliper.

obviously the grease was applied ont the dampeningplate only, between the plate & the caliper...
Just on the left & right side of the car.
Experiments after that were on one side (left) only.

Sorry but is was not obvious. Do you do the work yourself ? I have BTDT with two sets of pads when the technician failed to remove the adhesive paper which then appeared over the next few weeks out of the caliper. Have you checked for galvanisation build up between the steel retention spring & the caliper ?

No problem Alg, Yes I do it myself after initial install by Audi specialist.

Just took the pads out again, checked and cleaned the calipers again, especially between the steel retention spring & the caliper and checked if the spring can move freely --> it can.

Remounted the pads using a little coppergrease on the back and on the edges.. fingers crossed.

The hard thing (on intial mounting when the anti-rattle pads are not fixed yet) is to determine if the pads are on the spring enough, how much pressure should be aplied??

If this doesn't work I am going to take the single Porchepads of and go back to the double ones, I then also have to "re-glue" them to the pads so any info on the "vertical mounting force" is welcome

I have attempted to re glue them, but no luck. You need new backplates double are best.

I have found out that on my car squeaking noise is coming only from one front wheel, and seems that the reason is spreader (retaining) spring part no.: 8A0615269 which is NLA

but ,,... how to confirm that Porsche part no.: 92835195001

is equivalent to Audi RS2 part no.: 8A0615269 ?

I've had a look around the Porsche teilekatalog, and it looks like 92835195001 is the correct replacement for 8A0615269
