Place to buy new calipers at the best price?

Yes it's for the OEM discs, 996 rears look at my porsche breakers thread or ebay.

For new ones you will have to go to Porsche and negotiate with them, it's worth it.

You can't remember the part number can you, I bought some early 996 rear calipers and they did not fit as the disk was too wide. The part numbers of these calipers ended 421 and 422, Probably OK for diske upto about 20mm thick but not 24mm

Part numbers are on the bruno thread as he bought the calipers brand new, they are 421, 422 IIRC the pins need grinding
correction no grinding required
