The easiest (safest) way for me to do it is to have the caliper (both calipers if the crossover pipes are sided) in question infront of me, so I've got a spot-on point of reference. The stainless hardline is bloody strong, so the bends have to be absolutely perfect to fit properly.Originally posted by Le S2 AudiNice Work...
I may need a pair for 996 C2 Fronts!!
What would you need to make them up??
If the calipers in question uses crossover pipes identical to those on my LCR brembos, then I can use my calipers as reference to bend up another pair for you.
My Leon Brembos were 3/16" single flare. I can't comment on other calipers as I've never looked at any others. I'd be surprised if they weren't all the same though.Originally posted by sam80quattroany pics of how the flare should look? all brembos the same? i just used a normal brake flaring tool, good job i read this as my head would of been pickled as to why fluid would be coming out lol
I've got a short bit of stainless tube kicking around somewhere with an iso 'bubble' flare on one end, & a 3/16" single flare on the other. I made it to compare flares with the stock Brmebo pipes, & work out the flare allowances for my crossover pipes. I'll have another look for it tomorrow & post up a pic
