Did you fit new plasic caps (the silly little white things)...?
If not, try putting 4 new ones on, they are very cheap and quite crutial for gapping the sensor to the toothed ring... Even slightly out on one sensor and the Anti-Blocking-System will fail it's rotational test and put the ABS light on.
Chased an ABS fault on our WR for 2 years... Finally spent about £2.00 on the caps and cured it in an hour...

A while back my ABS light came on every time I had boost on the car. I had fixed a hose with holes that went over the battery and down to the diff controller. This hose is connected to a one-way valve that insures that the diff wont see boost. Because I fixed the hose and then one-way valve was broken then the diff would see boost all the time and then the ABS would be turned off.
