How much of a hurry are you in ? these are not my first choice of Carrier if I can locate the correct ones for the 996 discs I would sell these

Well for now I'm not even close to the car for at least 2 weeks but I would like to assemble it at some point. What time frame are we looking at?

Ok time to finally get these brackets made as I've yet to come any way with this.

This first drawing is showing the bracket I tested with when I made my measurements below here.

These pictures shows the problems with the offset of the bracket. From what I can figure out it is 4.5mm to much (the 28.1mm measure on the first drawing). This offset is deciding how far the caliper is mounted from the centre of the wheel hub.

Then there is the height of the adapter. The picture below shows the clearance to the breakdisk when everything is mounted. This clearance is decided by the 24mm measurement from the first drawing and has to be reduced by 1.35mm from what I can figure out (to get 2.65mm clearance on each side of the disc).

This led me to try to make a new drawing to get some adapters fabricated. This drawing isn't final but I've tried to adjust it according to my measurements above to get it right. I hope someone can take a few minutes to look trough my finds and let me know if I'm far off with this project as it will cost me quite a bit to get this fabricated and I don't want to make it wrong :X Thanks in adavance!

; is there a bracket design for the stock 'big-red' discs to fit the gt3 calipers to? Would be very helpful.

If you go in 4,5mm, your disc will hit the caliper, I made the same mistake with my gt3's It looks like the pads have to stick out a little over the edge of the disc to make it fit. I dont know if you have had the new brackets made, but I think disc will rub the caliper..
