Don't skim the disc faces by 2mm either side.

i tried a4 286mm calipers and discs on my 90q hubs and everything lined up perfectly, only difference being the fact that the discs are different pcd's, pretty sure you can upgrade the a4 brakes using passat/a6 etc 312mm carriers, so if you were to get a 312mm setup from an a6/passat and get the discs redrilled to 4x108 everything should bolt straight up.. i think lol might be worth looking into that

Im going 5 stud hubs sam Got the 312mm calipers/ carriers(from a tt), using s6 discs that are 314x30 where the tt ones would of been 312x25, this makes the discs too wide for the pads and calipers

that does sound right, but if you could get a lend of a passat carrier and disc to try it, and it all fits, the woohoo

I think I have found a solution. There are a set of discs off an audi A6 (later model) that are 314x25mm part No. 4F0 615 301 D

                    Found info here - http://www.audifieber.de/audiforum/t...E57-314x25-P-P

Gona get a set of these discs and see how I go

ive got a feeling that the discs are a different offset... i bought a pair of porsche calipers and 330mm 2 peice discs that where a straight fit on a s3 but when trying them on my 90 i had to machine quite a bit off the carrier so it moved outwards towards the wheel and then it sat over the disc properly...
