My 6pot 330mm floating disk setups start from around £1800+VAT. Very healthy discounts likely with a group buy!! Rear setup with Brembo handbrake calipers and AP 4 pots for about the same price. I will generate a small website soon to show the kits and their full contents. I guarantee you will not get anything like this from any UK aftermarket tuner for that price.

    Group buy anyone?

Nice work mate. As a mech eng myself I can totally appreciate what has gone into those...

    Cheers.

    Steve.
Just the brake bells alone are over £600 for the pair: when you need to maintain a 20 micron tolerance on machining it starts costing a bit more. Nearly a grand just for a pair of the 6pot calipers, £200 for a pair of brackets, £200 for pads, £70 for the bobbin sets and about £550 for the pair of disks. I think your grand for parts is a bit of a low estimate...All in cost well in excess of £2600 for my setup although there are many alternative caliper and disk options that are more cost effective. You don't get the best for nothing!

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the welcome. Been busy and quit my job to set up a design consultancy in Areospace and Motorsport. I am also designing quite a few performance enhancing parts which i will fully validate before full production. I may also be an agent for some consumables too at cost effective rates. Part design follows my philosophy: Chasis and brakes first then the power upgrades. As Porsche said, "Power is nothing without control".

I now have a good supplier for Brembo handbrake calipers so rear kits are the next thing together with a few suspension goodies.

    Watch this space!

Looks good - now get on with the power mods - I look forward to seeing some intersting stuff if those brakes are anything to go by

Calipers are 2.4kg, Brackets are 790g, Disks are a wopping 8.2kg and the bells are 720g each. All in all the setup is marginally ligther than stock but with a massive performance hike.

Very light weight I pressume. What exactly is the weight of it?
Less weight comes at a price......sadly.

    Great stuff Lee.
Thanks Jeffer. I was waiting until my last set of RS4 disks fell over before getting these bells manufactured. They have been designed for an embarrasingly long time.
