Evo I caliper body. Next I hope to get the cable mechanism done, and carrier(floating caliper) setup. Of course the bolts will be changed to nicer and higher grade ones.

I remember seeing rear calipers off a Series 1 or 2 Jaguar XJ6 a few years back. The handbrake mechanism used separate pucks and IIRC was bolted onto the caliper body.
Does anyone have access to old Jag parts to confirm this?

Caliper size comparison. The DIY calipers look'd big in the pic before, but as you can see, they are quite tiny.

No, not yet. Hope to get them in test condition before MOT next july.

I am also thinking of making or purchasing handbrake calipers, but i am up to research. So far i have the option of purchasing R8 which cost a fortune or try to fabricate a small handbrake caliper.
How are you thinking of making the mechanism pushing the pads?
What is the progress on your build?
