On that page it said it was made to fit S2/RS2 with 996 calipers. I sent a e-mail to the company selling them asking for a bit more info and I sent one over to a norwegian forum member that made some adapters for another guy with RS2 so will know more once I get reply. Not ordering 996 brakes before I know I can get hold of those adapters.
RS2 Brakes making noise

They have listed 142mm which is the centre to centre of the GT3 caliper which is encouraging! Ask them what discs they are to be used with on the RS2 and then double check. If they say the OE 322 discs then thats the most difficult to source despite the rotor being the 993TT.Comment

I tried both on PM. I didn't think about looking for someone selling this in Norway before today and guess what I found
The page is Norwegian but if someone needs them you can prolly contact them on email in english. Price is for on so it's 1300kr (about $200) for both.

They have no info on which disc they are using, I am looking for carriers for 330mm 996 disc's
I have a set of VRS 322mm GT3 Carriers, but I want to use 330mm disc's but VRS are not doing the caliper carrier at the present

Now I got a reply from Hansen Motorsport, original quote:
"
Disse er til 993 big reds kalipperen http://hansenmotorsport.no/product.php?id_product=221 som du kan bruke med disse
skivene http://hansenmotorsport.no/product.php?id_product=376
Disse er til 996 monoblokk calipperen hvor du kan bruk opp til 330mm skive http://hansenmotorsport.no/product.php?id_product=222"
Translated into english it becomes something like this:
"These are for 993 big reds calipers http://hansenmotorsport.no/product.php?id_product=221 and you can use these discs http://hansenmotorsport.no/product.php?id_product=376
These are for 996 monoblock calipers where you can use up to 330mm discs http://hansenmotorsport.no/product.php?id_product=222 "Comment

Well the discs they have linked to look like Audi 5x112 PCD not Porsche discs 5X130 PCD which is what I was concerned about.
The ordinary Porsche Monobloc has the same spacing as the 993 and RS2 calipers at 130mm. The GT3/TT 4 piston Monobloc has the 142mm spacing. So It looks like those brackets suit different calipers on those discs which do not fit an RS2.
Not too keen on fits up to 330mm discs as the bracket determines the disc due to the caliper position. Therefore the brackets must be designed for the diameter/width of the disc unless you want to add washers as spacers to make up the difference.
Keeping searching for purpose designed brackets to suit the RS2 not the S2. If they cannot tell you what Porsche based disc to use then there is an issue.Comment

Probably something useful on here:
You need to do a bit of detective work. One supplier of rear brackets can be contacted from that thread at least.
Interestingly he squeezed the regular 996 Monobloc (not the GT3/TT) on the front if I read the Word doc correctly. The issue is with the pad pins. The calipers were designed for 28mm disc so are trimmed when used with the 30mm discs must S2 upgrades use. Obviously the RS2 uses 32mm so it even tighter. The GT3/TT were designed for 34m discs and have slightly different piston sizes.
Jamo mentions another member TideRS who you should be able to contact through the members list if still active. Note that spacers were used with the 330mm discs. You might not want that.
Scratch that last bit as it looks like they were one off!
The issue of cost for replacements is a consideration, although I guess anything for a regular Porsche model will heve less of a premium than that for an RS2 and be easier to source!Last edited by twoqu; 11 October 2013, 14:29.Comment

I think you misread the quote or I translated it bad. In the first part he explains the "big red adapter" (130mm) and in the second he explains the GT3/996 adapter (142mm). I am only interested in the GT3/996 adapter but I just posted what he replied to me. I would guess the 142mm is then correct. I sent another mail just to see if he got the porsche part numbers that I need just to get a confirmation that the adapter fits the parts listed on this forum.Well the discs they have linked to look like Audi 5x112 PCD not Porsche discs 5X130 PCD which is what I was concerned about.

But isn't those discs the ones that can be used with the regular (original option part) big red brakes? Or maybe that "big red" adapter is made for making it possible to use these, cheaper brake discs.Comment

No! The RS2 factory upgrade used a two piece disc based upon I believe the 993TT rotor and with a bell machined from another Porsche model! Its unique to the RS2. Others have used the dimensional similar one piece discs.
Plus those discs are Audi not Porsche fitment so will not physically fit onto the RS2.
Basically if they cannot give you an answer as to what discs those brackets fit I would steer clear!Comment

Ahh I see. But the only unkown important factor on the 996 adapters is the "height" isn't it? We know that the spacing is 142mm so I do not have to change it there. The bolt holes will prolly fit since it's in the description that it fits on S2/RS2 and the 996 caliper. Will dig some on the Norwegian forum to see if anyone actually used these. No! Got reply from someone else using 996 monoblocks in the front and some monoblocks on the rear. He think it was from a Boxer S but he couldn't remember exactly. It's all documented somewhere there so just have to dig a bit but working 07:00-23:00 these days so not much time left to do research...Comment

And the offset, i.e. where the caliper sits. This is an important consideration as when different discs are used the caliper may be repositioned either further inboard (towards the strut) or outboard. The calipers themselves have different offsets due to the different widths of disc. So its a bit of a minefield unless you are certain about what fits what. Hence my cautionary words. Best to duplicate something known to work unless you have the capability to R&D!Comment

ok. Some quick searching lead me into a few part numbers. A guy on the norwegian forum is using "996-352-421-13" and "996-352-422-13" rear porsche calipers. These are fitted on stock 299x24 discs. I will see if I can gather more accurate info on this when I get more time to read trough all the posts but now it's time to sleepAnd the offset, i.e. where the caliper sits. Tnx again for all the info.

its a pitty you are not getting replies to your PM's because this HAS been done before and the information is out there. I remember Will at VRS invested in the drawings of several bracket designs for various caliper / disc combinations and had them made by Baimbridge and then sold them, I got set and they work perfectly. In fact Will from VRS fitted my front brakes to make sure the brackets were correct. Why not give him a call, I see he lists on UK ebay ?? Hiss username on the forum is Will20V
I will be home in a week and I will take some pictures and do some measurements of the brackets I have on my car, GT3 Monoblock on the front and boxter S on the back, I sent you the part numbers for all the Porsche parts you need.
If you can hold for a week or so I will see what I can do, all you need is to get a set made up...
Have you tried putting a specific post about the brackets, because this post is about brake noise ??
