        Bumping this thread.

Was wondering if there is an upgrade where you use everything from Audi/VW without any custom made caliper brackets, Im thinking of fitting in the rears but I want it road legal (over here its difficult to fix that without using original parts from Audi/VW/etc..)

S4 B6 rear calipers, carriers and discs bolted straight on my Avant with slight adaption of the handbrake lever. I think the Coupe handbrake cable is slightly different and may be an issue.

B5 RS4 rear hub, B5 RS4 rear caliper carrier, URS6 rear caliper & B5 RS4 rear disc. All bolt on, no modifications or aftermarket parts.

I run this setup - thanks to Wolfgang for the R&D.

Sounds very good. Then it's hope to get it passed through "MOT" or EU-checkup over here in Norway

              Whats the approx cost?

I think I paid about £200 for the rear brakes complete (second hand) on ebay. I stripped the calipers and put in new seals and painted them. The guy was breaking the whole car.

That wasnt too bad. Mounted it on your car? Notice any difference?

I never drove the car before as it came to me as a shell! The brakes are very good now. I have Porsche 993 calipers on the front. Another lucky ebay find

Hmm I wonder what kind of brakes im actually using in front myself lol.

Was just suggested them from someone using the same setup.

                      Think they are 993 351 425 and * 426

Hope they will work out fine

Should do. You need the A8 314 discs which you machine down and the brackets from Error or Audi Tradition. Hoses need modifiying but easy job. Have you got the older style alloys? If so, they don't fit. The just do fit under the newer Avus.

                          Yeah got it mounted,
                          think I have 321 or 323mm discs.

Just not sure what car the calipers are originally from

A few options depending on what caliper carriers you can get.
