I picked up my 1st quattro last week.i have a niggling problem, everytime i brake the bulb light alarm bleeps at me,but everything is working ok.
I changed all the bulbs just incase and now the warning light is permantly on.
    Any help would be appreciated.

If it is not low brake fluid or low hydrolic fluid, it could be the bomb (pressure accumulator) on its way out and not holding pressure, or if you are unlucky it could be the PAS pump not generating enough pressure.

This is what's confusing me because in the manual it say's it's,bulbs, fuses or wiring. There is a slight noise when turning the wheel.

        Which warning light is it??

        Is it the (!)

if its just the brake pad warning light it is most likely a faulty sensor.....IF (BIG IF!!_ a car of this age has them... Im not sure of that?>

What kind of quattro? Ur or coupe?

Could be brake pad warning. Or brake light bulb warning which can trigger if the bulb socket is dirty or the ground is bad.

Good news, its turned out to be a loose bulb holder,i just cleaned up some rust and bent the bulb holder clips back, problem sorted.
