    I think better than new!
ps. Those Philips lamps aren't so good. Better Osram Laser or Philips xtrem (but this will be broken to fast, toooo fast)

Yep, it is pretty expensive, someone on here did it a while back and think it was about £250+ a pair...so not cheap. But they look as good as new for sure. Rechrome will find some results too i think

I think the process is vacuum metalising... No paint will ever get close so don't bother looking!
Companies in this country can do it. Search the forum as the topic has come up recently or, search Google for headlight resilvering

You cant just buy a paint, as its a technologic method using for automotive industry. If so, it will be expensive as hell

We have companies here in Czech, which made these paints for automotive headlight industry and much more.So i send it to them and then make it and send me back.

Edit: Better picture when you can see the parabola.

I am solving this problem too.. I have non elipsoid lights.
Firstly i want to buy a HID kit = problems with police and MOT ...so no go
Second i want to buy some LED bulbs H4 = again problem with MOT, Police...no go
Third way which i already choose that i buy a new bulbs H4 and H1 Philips WhiteVision, make a new vacuum paint (like new headlights) on parabolas and then i want to add a relay.
As you can see the old parabolas was dead 5 years before now looks like new. When i have that covers ready, i will put here some pictures

interesting and I agree the main beam upgrade would be great too.

Actually, the most interesting part would be to upgrade the main beam...

HID could remain on dipped, but a closer match to the white for mains would be excellent...
