Hi.
Some questions:
Are yours headlights news?
On your countries, can U pass the MOT with leds?
Some friends try with leds and hid, in several cars, and said the xenon is more powerful at last.
Pd. In the past I installed a pair of pieces to install d2s lamps and some months ago proved with the new osram xenon lamps.
Very happy comparing the old Philips hid bulbs.
and always in 4300°k, never 6000 or crazy8000°K

Waiting to see what they are like... If they look good, will upgrade the HID dipped and halogen mains...
Will keep the HID fogs for now...

I have just ordered some and I am going to give the H7's a go in my Saab for the Main beam, as I have been unimpressed with any conventional bulb so far. I will leave the H7 HID set in as dipped beam and see what they are like together.
Thanks for the recommend.
Cheers,

Spoke with a guy at the company, very impressed as he explained about their own tests to make sure the micro chips with the bulb are positioned to match the original bulb and reflectors. There are no alterations to do before fitting the bulbs. I'm fitting a set in the dips and see how they are before ordering another set for the main beam.
parts are ordered and delivery in the next couple of days.
will post my comments after fitting them.Leave a comment:

Beam pattern comparison. The LED bulb shows a slighlty more intense area in the centre of the spread. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Classicarled.co.uk are the H4 bulbs I have in my saab. Really impressed. The driver/ballast is a small box maybe 8x4cm or so which can fit anywhere pretty easily and the heatsink on the back of the bulb isn't that big either. It's actually separate to the bulb and screws on. Whether it will fit under the plastic cover on the back of the headlamp, I don't know as not tried on the audi.
There may be a little bit of wiring to deal with though as the ballast has a male H4 (or male H7 for you) plug which pushes directly into the existing loom and h4 bulb connector on the saab.
My b3 audi has 1 round connector on the back of the unit that has 4 wires in it and makes connections for the dip beam, main beam and parking light.Leave a comment:

Yes, I think I remember reading this, I think the issue back then was the LED bulbs had a large cooling fan and heat sink mounted on the rear making it impossible to fit place the bulb cover cap back on without significant surgery.
I think the beam pattern was was very poor and lacking focus too.
Things have moved on since then having seen the above link.
