Has anyone repaired their alternator mine is rattling suspect bearing has gone but still charging ok if they have where did they get the bearing from.

Take the bearing out, read the number off the seal and order from any online bearing supplier. They are not specialLast edited by steve briance; 31 January 2021, 18:09. -

“Simply Bearings” have a brilliant online shop. You can order the bearing by number or by size, you just need the ID, OD and width. And choose your preferred seal type, ie. Open, Rubber or Metal.
