Sidelight/headlamp pics

Someone asked me about the PIAA Extreme front sidelights in my car and how they looked against the 6500K HID's from VAGParts. I figured I'd post them here too incase anyone else is interested.







If anyone has a suggestion for alternatives that may be a better match, please do post, preferably with photographs.

And no, it's not a leak... I just washed the car. In the rain. Because it's hardcore.

The last post in that thread is almost 3 years old. Has nothing changed since then?

Only difference you can get 6 or 8 ring LED's in that sidelight fitment for a brighter output but the basics are the same. LED sidelight is the best match for HID's

10 a penny on ebay or websites such as crazyleds.co.uk ultraled.co.uk

Philips blue vision sidelights have the colour temp of 3400K. the main bulb is also a blue vision, not HID (yet)

It was HPmuirt. I've personally bought alot of stuff from them never had any bother but never had to return anything.

The sidelights are cheap and common on ebay there's plenty of choice if people need to go elsewhere.

Thanks for getting back to me Bibby. I just wanted to see what the white ones looked like next to the HID's.

I would be very interested to know how they look, as my PIAA side lights look really yellow against my 6000k HID's.

For the record, I thought the customer service attitude from ultraled.co.uk was p!$$ poor. I ordered some replacements from Aceparts, but unfortunately, even though they were much better quality, they were too dim to be of any use. However, the customer service was excellent.....offered a full refund for if immediately returned, no questions asked
