  • UrS6 Plus Radio Remote Conversion

I have an UrS6 Plus with the non-functioning IR remote and the 4A0862257J central locking pump. I'm looking to fit a 8L0862257G pump, but there are some differences between the units. There is a T10 connector instead of the T6, and the 8L0862257G pump has dual vacuum ports.

Is there any way to convert from a 4A0862257J to a 8L0862257G pump, or are there any alternative pumps with radio remote control that I can use?

Is there a possibility to use the 4A0971014 adapter harness from a 4A0862257P pump to fit the 8L0862257G pump?

I swapped a non remote pump in a B5 to a 8L0 pump years ago, added a picture of the diagram from my archives.
A quick interweb search gave this:

      https://www.a4-freunde.com/showwiki....ng+Pinbelegung
      https://www.digakom.de/template/down...stallation.pdf

What I bought back then according to an excel file:

      8L0 862 257 D - pump
      4B0 837 246 A INB - key with transponder
      4D0 837 231 R 01C - remote
000 979 018 - repair wire (I think this was for being the antenna)
      N 024 522 3 - hose clamp

The diagram doesn't seem to be the one you need hahaha

I believe that the B5s have the new type of wiring with the T10 connector, but I have the old T6 connector. Might just be a lot easier to get a remote system from Rightclick.
