if its your s4, i think its the same as vw passats, the flasher unit is built in to the back of the hazzard switch so id recomend changin the hazzard light switch to see if it cures the problem, hope this helps
ur welcome mate, u have to remove the coulin under the steering wheel, not too sure if u remove the wheel itself dont think u do. Theres 2 screws to undo for the steerin boss then ya should be able to get to the plugs mate
could it be disco lights? Just a thought as an alternative. disco lights being corroded light boards in your rear lights. I had indicator/hazzard/brake lights shenanigans and it was just the boards.

Just checked the connections of the stalk everything seems to be tight and no lose wires. Checked the rear boards they do look a little corroded and have seen better days. Where can i get a new set and how much am i looking at?

thanks mate that would be great. At least i can eliminate them as a cause. When i took the coulin off there was 2 stickers on the bit where the plugs plugged into. What are they and could they be the cause?
