Could be tempted to change this also.

I've just looked at it & It don't say if its one that can be programmed.... & worst of all the seller does not answer questions....

So its a no-no AFAIAC

The programmable relay is surely the easiest and cheapest way to get home but installing the flicker-switch type is also possible.

I got into this last year rather unwillingly when i changed my old s2 airbag steeringwheel to the RS2 3-spoke airbag wheel. Because of the thicker stem i also had to upgrade to the rs2/cabrio switchstalk and only came up with one from a A4 ´99. It is identical to the rs2 but has the flickerswitch for the interval.

To be able to use the flickertype interval you have to get the according interval relay with two extra connectors for the flickerswitch and then relocate the relay from the fusebox to the aux carrier under the steering wheel. That´s where i am now so i haven´t gone through with it all the way, but the rest i simple rewiring.

And by the way, you have to resolder the wiring to the switchstalk since the A4 connectors doesn´t fit

What I had in mind was the switch type as fitted to my Fiesta ST, RS6 etc...

This was 1st found back in 2006 by S2avant and was being sold by Vagparts
