Looking for male plug for female plug 893906232

    So,

I'm trying to locate a male plug that is similar to the male plug on the 3B coil.

Know locking in ETKA I believe this is the female plug that is used for the coil.

    893906232

But I have no idea how to find a counterpart? But it would be really useful when doing 3B to AAN/ABY conversion.

IF (and I stress IF) there is a counterpart to 893906232 it will be found in the "EL" section of ETKA, near the bottom the List of vehicles. However, I had my friend Kate have look for that part and its counterpart but all she came up with was this (see diagram). On a more fundamental question, why to you think one single plug will make a conversion to a 5 coil ABY/AAN ignition system work? I don't think so. The AAN/ABY/ADUs have two Power Output stages that are controlled by the ECU and from there control the five coils. Have a look at this POS info:

I looked in the EL section of ETKA but the damn plug does not seem to have a counterpart.

I just wanted the male plug to use for 12V+ and ground for the five coils. Currently I dismantled my 3 pin female plug for the coil and inserted the power and ground into a 2 pin female plug. However for others doing the conversion and for myself it would a cleaner install to keep the origianl 3 pin female plug and then use a counterpart 3 pin male plug for power and ground for the five coils. The wiring harness from 034motorposrt has one wire for 12V for all coils and one wire for ground for all coils.

I was just hoping that someone knew where I could find a counterpart.

Is there a 3pin male counterpart on there? Can't seem to find it.

            UrS4boy:

Do you know what the model stands for when looking at the different wires for the plug? Seems that you can get three different wires for the female plug.

Different wires/pins are a variety of sizes depending on size of cable required. From memory it is something like 0.5sqmm or 1.0-1.5sqmm and 2.5sqmm. Of course some bigger connectors have even bigger choices for 6.0sqmm for example.

Also - you might find variants with steel pins and some gold plated - honestly - should be explicit in the parts system. In the UK you have to buy this pins in a baggy (min qty = 10) as pre-crimped 'pig tails' as I call them - all in yellow wire which are then spliced onto your bare wires in the car.

If you need 3-pin JPT male or female then you can get them from various aftermarket specialists with bare pins as you like. Note that a fairly expensive crimp tool is needed though - most of those same suppliers will sell you one... Check it is compatible with JPT before you spend the money.
