MC2 converting to MOTRONIC

hy people.
next week I start to do conveting MC2 (10vturbo) to motronic (AAN).
did someone here done something simullar and will I need custom remap?

the thing is to stay on stock (230hp) . I allredy know that few things must be changed, like intake manifold for throttle , and custom fuel rail.

everything is possible , so I will do this with your help. there will be lot of pictures and hope that thread could be DIY or guide for converting.
I think MC2 is good engine and they deserve better status . K-Jet is week point, BUT there is something special in it.
I will do it.
please if you have some advice for me, say it. because I have lot of questions for you.

questions;
kkk 24 or 26 ?
wastegate mc2 or 3b?
how did fuel rail look inside? is them just pipe with 5 wholes or they have something more inside of them?

I know that conecting rod is better on MC2 that 3B , but what is with pistons? are they forged too ?

Even with all the AAN peripherals, i.e. injectors and turbo, you will not get 230 (stock AAN DIN hp) without a serious amount of custom tuning. A non-cross flow 10V head just won't breath as well as a cross-flow 20V head.

Better to source and install a 3B (or ABY).

where is different between 3b and aan ? only ignition is different. aan is better solution. coil per cilinder is better than 100years old dizzy .
maybe we will not get 230hp, but the point is to kick K-Jet in trash.

PM Astro on here, he has built a 10v motronic UR. Pete Berry at White Cottage Quattros has done a few.

You're missing the point, a 10 valve has a different character, I wish I could take you out in mine, I think you'd like it.

But your car is like a Bus...... it needs all that power to make it as fast as a 10v

Loved my 2 MC2's in turbo quattro trim. Maxxed out K-jet at 1.1 bar, with an open decat exhaust. Lovely engine which surprised lots of modern
sportscars. Bit more diesel-like torquey experience. Mainly due to the shorter gear ratios.

Hello, I have done mc2 conversion to 3b and then to megasquirt. Went for megasquirt just becouse didn't want to pay for mapping of motronic. the car ran quite good with motronic, but with megasquirt i thinks it runs better
