    no, dont pull just yet.

you need a very small flat head screw driver and there are 2 screws on each side looking from the top. To reach them you need to get the dashboard clocks out of the way. then once the screws are undone(no need to take them out) you can slide the ignition module backwards.

A guide on how to do this was linked on page 1

But first, you need to check/replace your ignition switch, using a version of this procedure:

When you get time, you should read up about your ADU engine, using this AAN Engine Map with live label hyperlinks (AAN and ADU are very very similar):

Have you put a multimeter on the battery yet?

As I'm learning from the problems I've got with mine, a very small drop in battery voltage can have a big affect on the way things work.

If ONLY you would just open the pdf DIY I linked you to, and you read it, you would understand what needs to be done.

Here is the link again, from Page 1 of this thread. (Just click on it, it should download as an Abobe pdf document).

Nope, your test just tells you it has some power, doesn't tell you it is putting out the right voltage
It really would make your life easier if you tested stuff properly

And it would make our lives much easier if he listened/read what we are trying to tell him.

I wonder if he knows battries give off Hydrogen gas and that "testing" it for voltage by sparking across the (+) and (-) terminals, he could have blown himself up.

So far "David" is a time waster.
