my bad, i seen you posted the part number it in the first post. anyhow, im sure there is a way to disable the immobilizer in the code but i dont have a factory bin file for that ECU. another idea is to switch to a different chip set that doesnt have a factory immobilizer like the 895907551AA chip set. those shouldnt have the immo from the factory.

Here is an example of the immo on and off on a 4A0 907 551C ECU from AAN URS6.

The top file is bone stock and the bottom is with the immo disabled. you have to correct the checksum as well when you do this modification.

I cant tell ya if the immo code is at the same hex offset in your ECU as it is in this example but it should be in the same area. its always right at the end of the main code but before the maps themselves.

Hope this helps ya out man.

Hi does any body know which type of immo works with this type of ecu and is it a common immo.

If I have read your info right you have a late ABY ECU which has an integrated immobiliser. If you don't have the ignition barrel and keys then you either need to get the ECU coded to remove the immobiliser or use an emulator which RJScotty linked to. I believe these are your only two options with that ECU

I've tried one of the immo eliminators and it only worked for about 4 starts then it stopped working,so theres a a6 immo with transponder keys on ebay looks like the early ones,i just thought this mite work?

Just swap chips in the ecu for non-Immo code. I can do that with a homefry / remap of course.

That "B" ecu expects to talk to an factory immo with key transponder so when it doesn't find it then it refuses to start.

So it's all down to hex files then.
