It's more like a 10 dollar question, the cost of cheapest multimeter
Or buy new sunroof wiring loom, should cost about the same, any regular sunroof B4 loom should fit. Throw away all the random wires and restore to factory condition, if your original loom has been damaged or spliced into.
No point guessing what goes where, if someone have spliced random colored wires, who knows where.
Do not try the trial and error method. Looking at this mess, some idiot maybe took 12V straight from the battery, and in case of short you can burn your whole car down.

Defo don't want to burn the whole car down, not even the roof bit, thanks for all your help so far peeps I will let you know what happens next Replacing the loom back to original might not be the cure as this has obviousley been fitted for a reason

Take off the panel under the steering wheel. Only four 8mm bolts. And check if that end on the roof wiring is unmodified, 1 ground wire and 2 green plugs. Compare with my pictures.
Or has someone installed some cable porn there also.

Traced the extra wiring straight to the alarm system, well spotted Mr Newsh must of been the full closure wiring which has never worked in the 16 years I've had the car

Wired back up as original blocked the alarm wires off all working good as new, just need a slight adjustment on the motor as not sitting flush when closed

Thanks to M2Ki for your help also bud
