well i have just got this reply from Sten Parner (Question was what pistons to use with the 158mm 23mm pin rods on diesel Block and Crank):
      Hi
The best way to do a cheap engine is:
      Diesel block,Diesel chrankshaft,pistons from gas engin 5 cyl,SPM 155mm
      H-rods
The rods handle muck power(4Cyl 1127 BHP and 10500 rpm AND 7,38 sec.on
      the
      strip)
      Best regards
      Sten Parner

      --------

But i think that it would better to run the longer rods with the Bigger Pin diameter!

that receipt gives 9.4 compratio as post to orginal around 8.9-9 makes hard to tune such high comprate, plus the squish area is lowered to very bad levels. I would not lower the piston deck clearance, this one would make it 0,45mm under deck level.

I think maybe he has also pistons for Audi 5 cylinder to lower compression ratio! Dont know! Still like more the longer 158mm rods with the 23 mm pin diameter!

23 pin is good idea, 158 is too long, piston would be thin as paper.

I was thinking the same thing, Dom gave me some contact details but i havent got around to ringing Cosworth yet. I think its best to sort out the rod group buy first as i doubt people can afford both at the same time, i know i cant

JRC motorsports is a very good place to get JE pistons from. They sell them for $693 + shipping. Thats where I'm going for my set.

"A set of five pistons for your 20V is $693 with rings. It will take about 2
                              weeks to fill the order.
