I havent priced them yet as i'm broke after the rod group buy
I'm interested to see what Cosworth have to offer, so i was going to contact them and see what prices they can come up with. From what i've seen on this thread there might be a few others interested too, i can feel the group buy coming on :mischeif: Failing that i will probobly go with JE.
Why do you ask? ..i'm waiting for you to offer them cheap

I've just had a look at their website and there does appear to be a lack of pistons for Audi models.Originally posted by BillmanMaybe we should also look after Venolia Pistons! They seam Cheap and maybe we could get there also a group Buy in the Summertime!
Me personally I'd stay well clear of them, the saying that you get what you pay for springs to mind
At the end of the day, If you want quality pistons, then choose Mahle

Those CP pistons look nice!Comment

Yep those CP's did look nice.
I recently got a set of JE's delivered in about three weeks, a lot quicker than a previous set.
This might be because I sourced the rings from eleswhere though?Attached FilesMark - ModdedComment

yep I've seen your thread over on tdif, looks like a good deal. I've had these a little while.
These pistons are gas ported (lateral) with some other custom options, the gas porting probably wouldn't suit a high mileage road engine (depending upon what/who you read). The motor is being built for power (as much as the 20mm pin will take) so I doubt I'll be driving to the moon and back in it
.

JustinOriginally posted by olsonjusIs your motor a standard stroke and block? I'm excited to see the progress of your setup.

Yes, standard stroke, 82mm bore.
Progress is slow...............

I just ordered my 159mm Pauter Rods. I'm working on it. My budget isn't what most of your guys is so it take me longer. I'm the turtle.
I'm building a stroker so I can spool the beast. I hope it works ok. I'm pretty confident it will spool as good as javad's gt40r. I have more displacement, a 4" exhaust, better header. Time will tell.

Wait with the Je custom Group Buy! I am sure we could organize a Group Buy here in the Forum for Special Made JE piston (for strokers or not) with extra treatment for high HP and appa for the moon and back!
@Mark
Where is the problem point of Je's valve pockets! I have heard that some people had problems with them!Go Holset or Go RS4Comment
