Anybody have a guide or something that can help me clean the throttle body on my 1992 S2 3b?
Or can I just take it off and clean it with ipa? And then mount it again? I know some newer audis, where you have to get a workshop to setup the tb when you mount it again after cleaning.

Are you sure you are talking about throttle body, not the Mass Air Flow sensor ? I mean you are talking about aluminium thingy with potentiometer ? Or you are talking about plastic thingy ?
If throttle body (the place where throttle cable connects), then just take piece of soft cotton cloth, soak it with ipa and clean it . I mean alloy parts inside. Potentiometer is not serviceable, you cannot clean it. Do not soak whole part in ipa. Here is one:
If it's MAF, then do a search MAF cleaning. MAF looks like that:
Meant the throttle body, know i cant do anything about the potentiometer
And thanks i will do that, is it straight forward to change the potentiometer?

Yes, but there is a little procedure for ensuring the throttle pot is correctly in place - you need to check the idle switch activates in the idle position and that you get correct resistance readings at WOT. Fairly straightforward if you have a multimeter and can work from the schematic and pinout info at s2central.net. I should really post a more formal description of how to do this someday...
