yes but an oil cooler only costs 100euro at the most, and probably another 50euro for the oil lines...whilst the dry sump costs a lot more.I think that the dry sump is better for all the other reasons rather than the elimination of an oil cooler purchase

Im running a standard k24 turbo with a re-map (useally around 1.7 bar with up to 2 bar peak) and quite a few other bits.
She can hold her own with a 350bhp evo6 and a 350bhp supra TT.
Probably the longet S2 project in history EVER!

Here we have a couple of more pics with hoses connected

You need to realize, that dry sump is for extreme motors and race applications only. Building a setup is expensive and laborious.

Benefits of the dry sump take place with inline 5 when:

-revving up to +8000rpm (stock pumps explode)
-driving lap after lap after lap on circuit (oil temps get high, stock pump might catch some air from wet sump)
-going to extreme power (+650bp) / (high torque, 500 lbft or so)
-fast takeoffs on e.g. quartermile (stock pump may catch air again)

If You can make a set for 1200 usd, good. Still, if You use high quality hose fittings, You spend easily two-three times that for just hoses.

I always hate to see when people bargain the quality and hunt for cheapest option. Those are expensive toys You guys have over there, You shouldn't always bargain in technical reliability.

Never to mention You life, if a hose pops off and the ride catches fire.
