    I don't know how it is in S2, but in a200 20v (same engine) usual oil consumption is about zero . Ant BTW if your engine is consuming oil, please make sure it's not Mobil 1. There are too many witnesses of Mobil 1 synth oil burning on high rev. not to make rule from that .

        I think you can have breather problem. Search forum for that. If it's real mileage (in km), valve seals still should hold . Mine has 300+k km and no smoke or oil consumption. I hit revlimiter several times per day, however oil is Castrol RS.

                  about 1 liter every 2000 Km
                  breather hose are dry (no oil)
                  so should be turbo leaking

                    hi,

                    i`m using Castrol RS 10W-60, and it`s using NO oil!! (i`ve been told that that should be THE oil for the S2-engine)

                    i have to mention that that there are placed: a rebuilt turbo, new piston rings and new bearings to this engine about 90.000 km ago. right now it`s standing on about 422.000 km!!!!!!
                    (and it`s running just new, i think)

                      @Quattro_Vaassen

                      Take a read of the mass oil debate thread

                      It seems that there are several oils that suit different tunes of S2

                          I think in mine 3b is the same . Spark plug in #3 has much more oil on it than in others .

                              That’s terrible Pete
                              Did you run it in on mineral oil before switching to synthetic? How many miles has it done now?
                              Mine uses very little at 270,000 miles, it’s had rings and seals 100k ago.
                              I get a puff of smoke on start up (Garret GT30) I use Titan Race 10-50
