Do you have any dyno charts, and what can you say about rpm where you get max boost, general experiences and so on.

The GT28RS will be a bit too small for the 2,2 20v engine i guess. A better alternative is the GT 2871 which is used by alot of people on here. Max boost from around 2500 rpms.......

One GT28RS has just been installed to a urS4 with tubular mani. So far it has been test run with 0,8bar boost (RS2 stufe1+ chips), no problem. I'll let you know within couple of weeks how it works with bigger boost.4F 2006 avant 3.0tdi quattro

The reason for asking about this turbo is the claimed spool up at 1k rpm lower than RS2 with RS2 power potential, should make a very driveable car for normal day use.
Jamo, can you get that member to coment on the performance?

The update with gt28rs:
- installed to heavy C4 Avant S4 with AAN engine
- AAN stock cams
- AAN stock IC (small and engine does not tolerate ign advance like rs2)
- RS2 injectors / 3bar map
- nice allround driving caracteristics 1800 - 3000 rpm
- spools quickly; turbo surges between ~2900 - 3800 rpm

Can you get a biggler AR turbine housing to slightly reduce boost from 2.9K to 3.8K and so stop surge? I am sure that the map could be modified at these rpm to reduce the boost slightly in that range also. What boost is it running through surge point? What boost are you running at high rpm? Approx BHP/torque? How "laggy" is it compared to k24?Comment
