if you put down your beer goggles you'll see that the valve is on its side with the small bore vacuum out the left hand side, so the picture is VERY clear!

Martyn, I had a similar effect when I switched to the stronger blue spring. I'd describe it as surging between gearchanges. Old spring went back in...sorted
