ECU boost leak & a trip to MRC!

Well that was my old IC, and i never drilled any holes in it! I spoke to Doug recently and he told me about your car Jamo. Glad its on the way to being sorted.

Just a quick note tho, why do you want loads of boost at part throttle? surely that would make the car bad on fuel trying to drive normally. ******ed if i want full boost on part throttle, would send me sideways!

Lol dunno Tom the hole was freaky, it probably happened on the road as the car held boost when i first got it but how it got the hole?

Doug did a great job it, was funny watching us trying to get that damn lambda out

Hmm not some much I want full boost at part throttle, because i'm used to it boosting different when I bought it the change is noticable.

It's not a moan, I now understand why the controller was in ( apart from the MAP being missing )

I was thinking that maybe there was a over pressure release type valve in there or something to protect other components??? I know Volvo use those of the T5's IC.

Anyways, glad its running at half power now. Save up for a vmap, get it changed and remapped to unleash the full power
