The earth between chassie and engine block is there, so are the two ground connections on the intake. Measured battery - engine 0ohm. Will get back when i have tried to change fuel injectors and maybe Maxxecu if the injectors doesent make a difference.

To be honest some (if not all!) of this factory info is a bit suspect unless its just a typo 2.35ms rather than 1.35ms for example. I have seen ABY/RS2 injector opening times of @2.2/2.3ms at idle on various VCDS screenshots. But of course thats on warm engines without this cycling. Still unless someone comes along with a definitive explanation the only thing you can do is eliminate what it is not and see whats left!

Yesterday i connected up my Maxxecu to the car. Loaded in the base map and the car started. But same result, no good idle, made it a little better through some fine tuning but no way nere good idle. The idle with stock Ecu was much better. With the same base map/Maxxecu on my Urs4 the car idles good like stock. Now i have sorted out that it's not a ecu problem. Will continue with my fault finding, though i'm a little mad at it at the momen...

This is a long shot but..
One of the members on here had some engine work done on his car.
After this the idle was bad, going up and down in RPMs.
We did all kinds of stuff trying to fix it.
Eventually it transpired that the two hoses at the back of the cam cover were connected wrongly so the inlet manifold was connected back to the MAF hose via the PCV pipes.
As soon as the hoses were reconnected correctly the car ran perfectly.

Ok, if i'm thinking about the same hoses i think they only can be connected one way if you use the original stuff. You mean the connections on the right on my picture?

One thing that passed my mind is that i have rather old fuel in the tank. It was about half full when i bought it (stod for 6years) and then i filled in abut 30L of fresh fuel.. Could the old fuel maybe be an issue?

                  Possible
                  Have you checked fuel pressure?

Is the PCV valve working ok?

And you’ve done a boost leak test?

Fuel pressure is tested and in spec, the PCV valve was cleaned and tested "mouth pressure" when i installed the crank case ventilation. Pressure test not yet.. It runs and boost well once its on the road, nothing strange. Just that lumpy idle.

Old petrol can cause all sorts of problems. My mower won't run on last years petrol!

Would be worth getting the injectors cleaned and tested.
Especially if there’s any Ethanol in your fuel

Yeah, sure there is some ethanol in our fuel. I went through the injector clean and test when i had problems to start the car in the first place (The injectors were stuck) After cleaning the car fired right up. Fuel fitler also replaced. I will empty the tank and fill up with new fuel and see what that does to the idle.

Hello! Long time since last post. First of all i want to thank you that helped me and took your time. Second i want to apologize. I was so sure that i had set the timing correct that i was sure it was not the problem. Yesterday i sat at my computer looking at my engine build pictures, just to realise that i had set the camshafts at "zero" when the camgear was retarded the "half tooth" out. Today i rushed to the garage after work to check that it was faulty and sure it was... The inlet cam was one tooth on the chain wrong. Teared down the front end and fixed the timing. Now he purrs like a kitten. Well shame on me, took your and my time for something that easy..
Well here is a short movie of some idle.
