Boost cut after fitting TFSI coils?

Yes it sounds like a MAF connector problem to me.

Had same symptoms with same apparent reset from turning off-back on, replaced knock sensors-found shielding to be fubar.
Problem solved! Worth checking bud

Anything in the fault memory to give you a clue? I would have thought a boost cut would register a code.

Would unplugging the MAF entirely get around that possibility? Because that changed nothing other than idling rough

Just for the benefit of future seekers of answers for this ballache, it took a full 5 years to get to the bottom of it but I finally cracked it!

It was cheap sh*tty Chinese injectors had sh*t the bed, moral of the story buy cheap buy twice, you can't get real Bosch Green Giants for under $100 a set
