    Here's trying to be constructive.....
    1) The "garage" do not appear to know what they are doing. Have they run diagnostics to extract any fault codes from the car ? The sensor they replaced would cause a no-start, not poor performance. What did the boost test show ?
    2) Can you be more specific about the loss of power ? Is a boost gauge fitted ? If so, what does it read ? If boost limited to about .4 bar at any revs would suggest WGFV.
    3) Assuming engine is basically healthy (run a compression or leak down test) I would replace - Lambda probe, WGFV, DV, plugs.

If all this does not make sense, I would take the car to someone who understands them.....

You really should try and post in the same thread, lots of things have been discussed already, how much of this has been done?

Has there been a proper static pressure test of all the hoses in the inlet tract to make sure there is no leak?

      Was the valve timing checked?

Is the ECU getting a WOT signal?

Just a thought, is the car fitted with cats? Maybe one or both are partially blocked? Or there's a blockage somewhere else in the exhaust system.

The WGFV has been replaced already I think James.
Just run a search and sorry Steve, can't find your earlier thread, maybe lost in the move..

You say they checked for boost on the turbo, do you know how they tested for that?
Not disrespecting your garage, but these cars are a bit different, and many things can affect performance, many of the problems are easy to find and some of them not...
I would try and find out if they have put metered air into the boost pipes, pressurising and therefore checking for boost leaks, as is said above, if it continually boosts at a low level when driving probably wastegate frequency valve...
The problem is, you could change a huge number of expensive components, just to find out it was a split hose, or an adjustment problem or something. Without knowing what things to check or change, and in which order best to do it, they will likely be spending a lot more of your money than they need to...!
I would seriously consider a specialist, such as Corey, or MRC, as has been mentioned..... their time is more accurately focused on what the likely problem is...

OK, just read the earlier post, sounds like AllAudi are going about things the right way, and pressure test correctly etc....

            Here you go Steve

            Link to original thread

Best to revive that one I would think. All Audi in Bristol are doing the work on the car so they do know these cars..

              I've merged the threads.

Steve please try and keep everything under one thread, just because you start a new thread for the same issue doesn't mean it will get resolved quicker.

There's advice here given from other members and myself that hasn't reference for example cam timing and is the ECU seeing WOT? etc etc

The ecu is currently being checked to see if it has a fault. The car is still throwing up a hall sender code and that is the only code. I accept that under normal circumstances a failed hall sender will cause a car not to start, but we have had them cause performance problems on other Audi's. I apologise for the amount of time it is taking, but you did say time was not a factor and we have not dedicated full slots to it in order to try and keep your bill as close to the limit you set as possible. We also have a very busy work schedule at the moment which isnt helping. I will try and get more information to you when I have it. you can always call me at work.

A hall sender that intermittantly fails whilst the engine is running "can" reduce boost, it certainly did with my brothers 95 ABY Coupe. He was limited to 5psi at times. Only the hall sender change has stopped it.

                              you have a valid point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

due to a very busy life and by that i mean work!!! i have unfortunately a limited amount of time to telephone people, but it seem as though you have plenty of time to put your pointless remarks on the topic page!!!!! i posted the thread originally as i was told that the people on this site have a very deep understanding of the s2 coupe and would be all but willing to help a fellow s2 driver instead of posting such stupid remarks!!!!!! but apart from the last remark i have found everyone to be very helpfull on the topic in question. so to all the people at s2 forum thanks, but to the last remark think of something usefull to say next time cheers
