Yowzer, this one has turned a bit sour...!
Thought I could shove my nose in...
I believe that Steve didn't realise Allaudi (Chen) was on this forum, so naturally tried to find any useful information which could help... Which I have done before and will do again, because if someone suggests an unusual symtom or cure from personal experience it does short cut to any good possibilities...
Its a shame we didnt know where the car was being looked at, as 'a garage' could mean some grease monkey who is not ever going to find the problem, in this case the garage has a reputation and knows Audis...
I do think the odd phone call to the guy doing the work would be worthwhile, even though time is obviously tight during office hours, but definately explore any avenues for any information which could help out....Private Messaging would be good for personal messages... I am sure Allaudi would appreciate any suggestions which could point them more quickly in the right direction.
Steve, I hope things get fixed soon, as they are cracking cars when running right, well worthwhile... And the forum? Is also a cracking place, everyone has helped me heaps in the short time I have had my car.
        Good luck with getting sorted...

Generally I am now keeping out of this thread but I would like to respond to LHD_Kid's voice of reason by just saying of course we appreciate all help in finding this fault out.

I understand how having net access but no phone access is possible in this day and age.

If and when you get a result we'd love to know, it all adds to the collective wisdom
Hope you get it sorted soon.
