  • ARP head and main bolts torque spec?

    Hello mates!Im runing into little doubt regarding the proper torque spec of mains and head studs from ARP!
    Someone can give me advices please?

        Head studs to block : fingertight
        Head nuts : 90nm, don't use the small washers provided by arp. Get bigger ones. Re-torque after first run. These instructions are from finnish Audi forum from member Repo.

        Main studs: if the thread pitch is the same as oem use oem torque. Otherwise use the torque provided by main studs supplier. If the thread pitch is finer than oem and you torque them to oem spec, the main caps won't be round anymore.

          Yes im worry obout roundnes ot the main caps,now all of them are 0.03mm when its tight with original bolts ?did i nee to make rehone of the main tunel?
