Glad you found the cause of it not starting.... However I'd want to know what caused that fuse to blow, they don't just fail on their own unless they're extremely old, is 20 amp the correct rating for that location to start with?

Well done. As Kit says a bit concerning. At least you now know where to look first if it happens again.

Hey thank you everyone! My electrician plumbed this into the circuit for the new coils, emerald ecu and setup.

I arched the alternator months before and blew the voltage regulator on the rear of the alternator, I think it was slightly linked to that arcing of the terminal incident. (New voltage regulator sourced and installed on alternator) - now new fuse in and will observe. Deffo my thoughts also

Arcing out the back of the alternator (which is really quite easy to do, hence disconnecting the battery before working on it) could well have caused it to pop...

However then I'd of expected it fail straight away, not sometime in future, all you can do is keep an eye on things... Are you sure 20A is the right rating for that fuse?

Hope your car doesn't let you down over the weekend, have spare fuses on hand!
