are there any reports of the APR R1 being too weak for high boost applications? I was told that by apr when i wanted one many years ago.

i have been using Forge 006 for many years now with no problems(blue spring)

There were a batch of R1's where the rivet broke. That's was a couple of years ago. Might be that.

My question is, does any of the aftermarket bypass flow better (in open position) than stock item? And I mean bypass with stock intake and outlet sizes.

I doubt there is a great deal of difference in terms of flow, especially given that it is a relatively low volume that would need to be transfered. The aftermarket items may operate faster that stock I would have thought.
